Musical Auditions | Mary Poppins JR.

November 10, 12, 13 (Attend one date)

Ages 8 to 18
Must be at least 8 years old by performance dates.

Please note: We will try to cast as many as we can, but cast size is limited.

Callbacks will be as needed on Saturday, November 14. (Receiving a callback does not guarantee casting. Not receiving a callback does not necessarily mean someone is not cast.)

One Audition Form must be completed for each actor auditioning.

Audition Process: Prepare a 30-60 second selection of a song, preferably musical theatre, to perform in front of our audition panel. You will also do a simple movement audition with our choreographer. Please come dressed in comfortable clothes to move in, and wearing shoes you can dance in. Do not wear open toe shoes, crocs, or slippers. 

Performance Dates: Thursday-Saturday, March 4-6 • with two shows on Saturday

Performance Location: Williamston Municipal Center Auditorium

Rehearsals: After the Parent meeting in November, the cast will do a read-through of the script. After that, our next rehearsal will be in January. • Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, some Saturday mornings *except Tech Week 

Not every actor will be called for all rehearsals. A full schedule will be provided shortly after casting, taking known conflicts into consideration.

TECH WEEK Rehearsals cannot be missed for any reason.

We will be following the Anderson School District 5 and Anderson Christian School calendars as best as we can. 

We will be mindful to not schedule events and activities on Wednesday nights (with the exception of Tech week) or on Sundays. We encourage our students to be involved in their local churches and youth groups. 

If you are unable to attend in-person auditions: We will be accepting virtual auditions for those unable to attend in-person.

Please submit video auditions by Tuesday, November 10th at 8:00 PM.

Production Fee: Student Cast Production Fee is $125 - includes a cast T-shirt. (Payments are to be made AFTER casting. There is NO fee to audition.)

We are offering a discount for families with multiple students cast.

$75 of the cast fee is due at our first rehearsal (November), in order for students to take materials home. The remaining balance will be due midway through the rehearsal process at our second parent meeting. The second parent meeting date will be included in rehearsal schedule.
